The Fine Line, is a holographic lenticular poster that highlights the delicate balance between a utopian future and a dystopian one. The concept behind the project is to demonstrate that there is a very fine line between these two potential futures.

To achieve this, I combined two posters, each depicting me surrounded by motifs of either utopia or technological dystopia. The utopian poster features imagery of butterflies and flowers, while the dystopian poster has surveillance cameras and other items associated with injustice. On each poster, I make different expressions that reflect different emotions associated with either utopia or dystopia.

The holographic and lenticular effect was created by splicing these posters in a specific way and combining them. I then printed the combined image on high-resolution photo paper and tiled them to create the final poster. To give it the holographic effect, I used special lenticular sheets and lined them up and attached them on top of the image.

The Fine Line is an exploration of the tension between our aspirations for a better future and the potential consequences of our actions. By creating this holographic lenticular poster, I hope to encourage viewers to think deeply about the choices we make and their impact on our collective future.
